What Have We Been Up To? EVERYTHING!

This blog is going to be the death of me. I mean really? Really I couldn't find time to update this since FEBRUARY? My life is busy, but not THAT busy. I promise (again) that I'm going to do better, because the guilt is getting to me! :)

And here is what we've been up to....a little bit of everything and nothing all at the same time!
This is such a fun age for both of my girls, and I hope I remember every bit of it!

A quick update on Rayven: she is changing and maturing right before my very eyes! More and more lately, I've found that she does things on her own without me asking her...like cleaning up her dishes from the table, turning off the lights or TV when we leave the house, helping Rylee put her shoes or clothes on, making her bed, and she even folded the towels the other day because I got busy on the phone and left them on the couch! She is very sweet (mostly, lol), and she is my best helper. We are finished (I think!) with everything for school this year, although we'll continue with some review over the summer. I'm so impressed that she is reading, doing well in math, and LOVING anything artsy! I also can't believe that Kindergarten is over, and I'll have a first-grader on my hands this fall....sniff, sniff!

Rylee has discovered that she is almost 3, and she has a whole new attitude! She is very defiant at times, but then can be so cute that I could almost eat her. :) These sweet smiles and "I wuv ooo, Mommy"s are all that saves her from certain punishment at times! She is very independent right now, demanding that "I do it myself!" and "NO! I don't want to!". She often gets put in time-out for her bad attitude, but that doesn't deter her for long... She is going to be strong-willed, for sure! We have used the potty a handful of times, but she claims she isn't going to stop wearing diapers until she is "FREE" (three). That's an improvement, because she used to say she wouldn't use the potty until she is SIX like Sissy! (I don't think we can afford diapers for 3 more years!)
